Why Buy Beads For Beading?
One of the most popular hobbies today is the fine art of jewelry making. Except today, homemade beading supplies and craft stores are taking over where traditional jewelry stores once sat. Why this change? Mainly because both women and men are now buying beads for beading. Why would someone want to buy beads when they once bought ruby, sapphire, amethyst, and other gems? Because when you buy beads for beading, you can get those colors, looks and so much more, yet at a fraction of the cost of buying gems at the jewelry store.
Where To Buy Beads For Beading
Where I live, we are lucky enough to have a local bead store. We also have a Hobby Lobby and and Michael’s within five miles or so. Don’t know where to find a bead store where you live? It’s easy enough. I found that there are 7 stores to find beads for beading within about 20 miles of where I live just by doing a local bead store search. Unfortunately, sometimes its not that easy to find a local bead store because maybe you live in the boonies. It probably helps me that the county in which I live was one of the fastest growing places in the United States and along with that came all the different restaurants, big box stores, and yes.. bead stores.
My wife gets a beading magazine each month where it gives ideas (us photographers call them swap files) on how to make beaded jewelry. We also get a catalog from time to time from Fire Mountain Gems And Beads. Talk about a treasure chest of items that that will give you ideas to match just about every fashion item or accessory you might have. Of course we cannot leave out the best for last and that is the internet. A simple Youtube search will yield plenty of how to videos as well as accompanying ads showing where to buy beads for beading. Youtube is also a great place for finding out about the latest gadgetry used to make beads or perhaps for doing a search on how to make clay beads.

Beads For Beading Supplies
One of my top recommendations for finding supplies for beading is to go to Amazon. Without going overboard, what I like about Amazon is that they not only have fantastic prices but they also allow customers to leave reviews on products. Seek out the products that get plenty of positive reviews. So whether it is a bead design board, a plastic storage cabinet (a favorite of my wife for holding about 64 different compartments of beads, clasps, wire, and more), a neat device called a Bead Stopper, a bead kit, or crimp pliers, you are sure to find all of supplies for beads and beading at a great price over on Amazon.
Here is my p.s. part of this article because I just remembered that I left out one highly recommended way to learn about beading. That is with an ebook. There are a couple of really good bead ebooks on the internet which takes you from the beginning stage all the way to selling your own beaded jewelry. If you are looking for beading techniques, telling you what type of string or wire to use, showing cool beading techniques and even where to find tradeshows, ebooks can be a great source. I hope I’ve shown you where to find just about everything that you may need to buy to get involved with beads for beading.
